Patent Cost Calculator provides indicative estimates of patent-related official and professional fees, for information purposes only.

Results are estimates of orders of magnitude and never constitute a quote, an offer or a commitment. Official fees, reductions and exchange rates change over time; official sources must be verified with the relevant offices before any decision or filing.

The service provides no legal, tax or financial advice. Its use creates no mandate, representation or attorney-client relationship.

The service is provided as is, without guarantee of availability, completeness or accuracy of the data displayed.

To the extent permitted by law, GIG Inventions Sàrl excludes all liability for direct or indirect damage arising from the use of the service or from decisions taken on the basis of the estimates provided.

The directory lists practitioners who applied themselves, confirmed the accuracy of their information and consented to publication. Before publication we verify the email address and check the declared registration against public official registers; this check does not certify competence, current standing or the quality of any service.

Listings carry no paid placement and no published fee comparison. By default, real listings are ordered by their effective directory entry date, earliest first; visitors may select another available objective sort. Contact links are counted only through anonymous aggregate totals. GIG Inventions Sàrl is not a party to any relationship between a user and a listed practitioner and accepts no liability for services provided by them.

Listed practitioners must keep their details accurate and may request correction or removal at any time; we may unpublish any listing that appears inaccurate, misleading or fraudulent.

Until enough practitioners have joined, the directory also shows clearly labelled “Example” entries. These are fictitious illustrations: the names, firms, contact details and figures shown do not designate any real person and must never be contacted or relied upon. They disappear as real listings are published.

Scope: listing in the paid firm directory is a contract between the applying firm and GIG Inventions Sàrl. It is entered into per firm and per country: a separate subscription is required for each country in which the firm wishes to appear. This service is separate from the free patent attorneys directory.

Prices: Essential EUR 10, Visibility EUR 20, Premium EUR 30 per month, excluding tax. The yearly plan bills 12 months for the price of 10 (EUR 100 / 200 / 300 excluding tax). Prices are also published in USD, JPY, CHF and CNY; these are fixed prices of their own, not conversions. Swiss attorneys are billed in CHF whatever the interface language; otherwise the currency follows the interface language. The amount shown is the amount actually charged and billed in that currency. If a currency is unavailable for a given plan, the subscription is charged in EUR. Applicable tax is calculated and added at checkout.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Cancellation is possible at any time and takes effect at the end of the current period, at which point the listing is unpublished. A yearly plan runs to the end of its 12 months. Save for mandatory legal rights, a period already started is not refunded pro rata. If we decline to approve a listing, or remove it for a reason attributable to us, the unused period is refunded pro rata.

Failed payment: after a failed payment the listing stays online for a grace period set by the publisher (14 days by default), then is unpublished until payment is settled. It is restored as soon as payment succeeds.

Payment and the role of Stripe: payments are processed by Stripe. No card data reaches or is stored on GIG Inventions Sàrl servers; we retain only subscription identifiers, status, periods and invoices. Stripe's own terms apply in addition at checkout.

Effect of paid tiers on ranking and visibility: the firm directory is a sponsored placement service. Display order depends first on the tier purchased (Premium → Visibility → Essential); within a tier, an hourly rotation varies positions so that all firms of the same tier receive equivalent exposure. Position is therefore purchased and reflects no assessment of quality, competence or fees. The tier also determines available features (logo, website link, contact buttons, description, members, highlighting). The free attorneys directory remains neutral and carries no paid placement.

Launch offer “free for life”: limited to the first 1000 listings redeeming code 123TAKEOFF, one listing per firm and for the Essential tier only; it grants no right to higher tiers. It is non-transferable, has no cash value, and applies only while the listing remains approved and compliant with these terms. The publisher may end the offer at any time for future subscriptions.

Published content: the firm warrants that it holds the rights to the logo, name, description and member information published, and that this information is accurate and lawful. The publisher may refuse or remove any listing that appears inaccurate, misleading or unlawful. GIG Inventions Sàrl is not a party to the services provided by listed firms and accepts no liability for them.

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The forum is the registered seat of the publisher, subject to mandatory rights and forums.
